Job Description :Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team.
Must Have Primary Skills :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Commerce or an equivalent field

Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a business analyst
-
Minimum of five (5) years of experience documenting/conducting process analysis and re-engineering
-
Minimum of five (5) years of experience writing requirements, use cases and user stories
-
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in working on projects in agile environment
-
Most possess high level of communications, consulting, and client relationship skills. The Analyst must be able to clearly communicate complex technical and business concepts, both to clients (internal or external) and to team members, and to negotiate change

Must be capable of effectively identifying and framing problems, leading the collection of elements of information, and integrating this information to produce timely and thoughtful decisions

Accreditation from IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) is considered an asset

Knowledge of the Business Analysis Book of Knowledge (BABOK) is considered an asset
Proven Experience In :Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand businessobjectives and document detailed business requirements.
• Analyze and document current business processes and workflows, identifyingareas for improvement and optimization.
• Develop comprehensive business cases outlining costs, benefits, and risks ofproposed solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (including IT, operations, andmanagement) to ensure alignment of business and technology solutions.
• Create functional specifications and user stories, ensuring they are clear,complete, and feasible for implementation.
• Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes and enhancements to existingsystems and processes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts and team membersas needed.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts, ensuring solutions meetbusiness requirements and are fit for purpose.
• Assist in the development of training materials and conduct training sessions forend users as necessary.
• Defines and documents business processes involving current and future states
• Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical team, consultants andother governmental organizations in the analysis, design, configuration, testing andmaintenance of solutions
• Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through the use oftechnology and/or through business process changes;
• Reads and interprets technical literature and translates in terms understandable tothe end-users or non-technical staff
• Plans, organizes and conducts business process reengineering/improvementprojects and/or management reviews of programs
• Consolidates information into cohesive and understandable correspondence orother written form for use in management decision-making
